Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Clark Fork Veterinary Clinic is searching for someone committed to providing exceptional service to our clients to join our motivated and growth oriented organization. Position job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Client Communication- face-to-face, over the phone, electronically, and written

  • Assist DVMs with patient examination and treatment

  • Patient intake and discharge

  • Surgical assisting

  • Handling and restraint of multiple species

  • Assisting with all aspects of patient care and clinic operations

  • Use of technology and AI

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work with cleaning equipment and chemicals.

  • Must be able to lift and carry animals and product up to 40 pounds (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 40 pounds.)

  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Working hours are up to 40 hours scheduled, with some overtime and weekends likely.
Pay starts at $15/hour, DOE.

Experience is helpful but we are willing to train the right candidate.
